The office of the associate vice president for Student Affairs oversees all housing operations on campus, including all residence halls and apartments. Operations’ main goals include:
- Providing quality oversight of all housing operations.
- Improving housing conditions on campus through intensive, long-range capital planning.
- Delivering quality facilities for UT Dallas students to eat, live and study.

Work Orders
Routine Work Orders
Regular, non-emergency work orders can be submitted through the MyHousing Portal. Requests will be addressed within 24-48 hours.
Emergency Work Orders
Emergencies are issues that threaten life, health, or property (ex: water leak, overflowing toilet, smoke, fire, etc.). Emergency work orders must be placed in person or called into the appropriate building. On-call staff are available to answer after-hours emergencies.
